The practice of breathwork is an energetic shift, meaning you may find yourself more emotional, acutely and for days after the workshop. Continue to drink water, nourish yourself with walks, baths, and journaling. It's in these more embodied states (less in the mind and more in the body) you have a wider view to perceive your thoughts and feelings. This spaciousness is what the Dalai Lama calls the long view. This is where you can again observe, be with your thoughts and feelings with more compassion. Again thank yourself for opening up to practices like breathwork and meditation where the option to live life with more intention, compassion, and meaning is available. Finally, I'll close with this quote from the Dalia Lama who has dedicated his life to studying compassion.
"If you want to be happy, practice compassion. If you want others to be happy, practice compassion."
